Many see innovation as something you do once everything else is fixed — a fun agenda item with post-its and creativity. But innovation is hard, everyday work. It doesn't start with ideas. It starts with a real problem or a desired outcome. I help you all the way.

"We start with the problem. We are only done when it creates real value."

Perspective

Most organisations don't lack tasks, problems, or ideas. They lack support in taking all the steps from problem to new practice that actually sticks.

Public sector innovation must work in a world of political considerations, resource pressure, and staff who have seen one too many reform trains pass through. I know that tension from nearly 20 years working with public innovation — and I bring that experience into your specific situation, grounded in your challenge and the value you want to create.

I don't arrive with a standard model that everyone gets squeezed into. We intervene together where the need is greatest — whether that is the shared understanding of why change is necessary, the capability to act differently, or the embedding that ensures the new way takes hold. The goal is always the same: something new that creates value, works, and keeps working.

See the approach

The Approach

Three phases.
One coherent
movement.

Most change efforts fail not because people are unwilling — but because one or more phases have been overlooked: the shared picture of the future, the capability to act differently, or the embedding that ensures the new way takes hold. I work diagnostically — finding what is missing and addressing exactly that. Because that is where real value is created for you.

01
See Mind shift

Being able to see why this change matters. Understanding the vision and feeling — personally — that it is both necessary and meaningful. This requires more than a decided direction: it takes a direction that has been communicated and worked through so that everyone can make it their own.

This is where the foundation for change is laid.

Deliverable: Shared understanding of direction

02
Can Skill shift

Having the capacity to act in a new context — with new competencies, or by activating what people already know and can do. Away from generic training forgotten a week later. We go after precisely what works in your situation.

This is where the organisation builds the muscles to move in the new direction.

Deliverable: Tested methods and skills

03
Do Culture shift

The new way is embedded — we are no longer talking about the change, we are working inside it. New routines, workflows, and habits have become everyday practice.

This is where change either takes hold in the organisation — or quietly disappears.

Deliverable: New behaviours that have become everyday practice

Services

01
Innovation Advisory

When you want to do something new, but are not sure where to start — or what is really getting in the way. I help map the situation, find the direction, and translate it into an action plan that works for you.

02
Facilitation & Capability Development

When you need to bring people together around a complex challenge and create real forward movement — not superficial consensus. I design processes tailored to your situation and build the competencies needed to act differently.

03
Implementation Support

When something new needs to go from decision to daily practice — and it is stalling. Implementation is not something you do at the end; it must be built in continuously. I work closely alongside you to ensure the change becomes everyday reality, not just a paper commitment.

04
Evaluation & Communication

When you want to know whether what you are doing is actually making a difference — and need help telling the story. I help you evaluate using methods developed specifically for public sector innovation, and give you a stronger language for the value you create.

05
Talks & Teaching

When you need a boost that sets something new in motion. Not fluffy inspiration, but concrete and experience-based talks and teaching programmes — that help people spot innovation in their own organisation and become curious about what is possible.

From complexity
to clarity

I hold an MSc in Sociology and bring nearly 20 years of experience at the intersection of innovation, transformation, and the public sector. Since 2015 I have worked as a Senior Consultant and Innovation Partner at the Centre for Public-Private Innovation (CO-PI), with a strategic focus on strengthening the capacity for innovation in government and public organisations.

I am quick to read complex situations and distil what matters most. I thrive in environments where a strategic and systemic perspective is required — and where you need to find the stepping stones and work in a problem-focused way.

I am passionate about supporting change and societal development, and I believe that smart, sustained public sector innovation makes a real difference for citizens.
